OK, I can't resist this one. What in the heck was The Singing Bee supposed to be? Certainly not good television. Joey Fatone should stick with Dancing with the Stars and leave the sinking singing shows to someone who doesn't have a career worth saving.
Lindsay and I both thought the show sucked! Dave, he'll sit through anything so he didn't notice the slow was boring with a capital B. The singing was mediocre and the contestants more like leftovers from the New Price Is Right
Can we say Cancelled! Please soon, I hope.

My husband and I have been increasingly annoyed at what's on tv these days. All these "reality" shows and game shows. It's like nobody wants to be creative anymore. Imagine all the tv writers who are looking for work as a result. And it's just disgusting that our cable bill goes up every year yet we can't find anything decent to watch that doesn't involve "real" people or has-been celebs competing or arguing or whatever.

I haven't watched that show, Singing Bee, but I watched the other one, called Don't Forget the Lyrics. That one is actually pretty good. Wayne Brady is the host.

Agree wholeheartedly... the only time I "watch" TV is while doing something else, like right now, with a laptop surfing while fans keep me cool...then I only barely listen to the TV. Man, over 100 channels and very little to watch. Lately my favorite channel has been Discovery.
I'm right there with you. Barely interested in summer TV, though I am liking Army Wives on LIfetime. I came across a great show today. I turned on the TV for background noise when I was cleaningtoday and there was a My Boys marathon on TBS. It rocks! New season starts Monday--you can watch the first 13 epis online. Oh yeah, and the Singing Bee is craptastic.
Have not seen "singing bee" or even seen it advertised. I know, I need to catch up with the rest of the world one of these days.
There are just so many stupid shows on anymore. Most days, I don't even bother watching anything but old episodes of shows I have on DVD or tape.
I agree with most everyone here. there are so many dumb shows on Tv!!!
I do like watching "House" and "Heroes" but that's it.
This is why I do not watch t.v. I hardly ever turn it on, my husband likes to have it on just for noise. But you can not do that with a 5 year old in the house. Just the commericals are x rated, let alone the shows. When I turn on the t.v. it is to put in a vcr tape or DVD for my daughter to watch. At least then I know the movie and there are no commericals! Anyway, I wish they would go back to good family shows and cut out all the crap! That is other reason we do not have cable, direct t.v., etc. I am not going to pay for the junk as well!
